Πόσες φορές θα στο ξαναπώ να μην κάνεις τα λάθη που έκανα εγώ κατά το παρελθόν; Να πω πως είσαι μικρός και δεν καταλαβαίνεις ok, αλλά δεν είσαι γαμώτο.

Η ομορφιά της διαφορετικότητας είναι ότι δεν βλέπουμε ίδια πράγματα, κάτι που επιτρέπει να συζητάμε μεταξύ μας και όχι με τους καθρέφτες μας.

Εγώ βλέπω δύο διαφορετικές ιστορίες, μεταξύ τους ασύνδετες. Μιας και σχολίασα το θέμα Νιώτη, να σου απαντήσω στο θέμα Κουράκου καλέ μου Ortho γιατί προφανώς δεν είναι όλα αυτονόητα. Ευθύνη για τις πράξεις των παιδιών του φέρει μόνο όταν τα προτρέπει/συμβουλεύει να πετάξουν τις μολότοφ. Το τηλεφώνημα που έκανε ήταν αναμενόμενο, μην κοροϊδευόμαστε. Κάθε γονιός στην θέση του το ίδιο θα έκανε χωρίς να περιμένει να του το ζητήσουν τα παιδιά του.

Σ'αυτό το σημείο, όμως, να σου πω επίσης κάτι άλλο. Υπάρχουν παιδιά που δεν ανήκουν σε γνωστές οικογένειες ούτε έχουν δόντια και θείους αλλά μολονότι τους έπιασε η αστυνομία δεν στιγματίστηκαν ποτέ. Αν κάποιο από αυτά ανήκε σε γνωστή οικογένεια, θα μας βομβάρδιζαν νυχθημερόν με παράθυρα, συζητήσεις και κοινωνιολόγους.

Επίσης θα ήθελα να μου πείτε αν (και αν ναι, γιατί) δικαιολογείτε ένα παιδί που προέρχεται από μη εύπορη/γνωστή οικογένεια και καταστρέφει δημόσια ή ιδιωτική περιουσία αντί να κατευθυνθεί στα σπίτια των κυβερνώντων. Δυο μέτρα και δυο σταθμά; Θεωρητικά αυτό θα έπρεπε να έχει ακόμα μεγαλύτερο σεβασμό στον κόπο του άλλου.

Οι κινητοποιήσεις της νεολαίας δεν έχουν επαναστατικό χαρακτήρα, αλλά συντηρητικό...

...Δεν είναι τυχαίο μάλιστα ότι το μόνο θετικό αίτημα (αρνητικά είναι όσα λένε όχι στο ένα, όχι στο άλλο, θετικά όσα λένε ναι σε αυτό ναι στο άλλο) των φοιτητών ήταν η αύξηση των χρημάτων στην παιδεία – αίτημα δηλαδή απόλυτα σύμφωνο με την πολιτική των μεγάλων κομμάτων ( = αύξηση δημοσίων δαπανών = αύξηση δανεισμού του κράτους = αύξηση δημοσίου ελλείματος – η πολιτική που εφαρμόζει η ελίτ δηλαδή.)

Μόνο λάθος ότι τα παιδιά του Νιώτη δεν ήταν στην διαδήλωση, αλλά το παραπάνω είναι πάρα πολύ σωστό!!

December 08 and the anti-Giannakou mobilization are separate and different in terms of the participants and the orientation

Giannakou was indeed opposed partly on the basis of concerns about unemployment, job security, low wages etc.

At the same time she got the worst of the opposition to the privatization of higher education. Both major parties and all ministers following her downfall set aside this issue and so this could not have been and was not part of the December debate.

Also it is evident that the media and the opposition under Papandreou were backing up and instigating the December riots while they were supportive of both the privatization plan and the university reform pushed by Giannakou

The December rioters received support from the archbishop and the union of industrialists

No such mobilization of the PASOK run establishment occurred under Giannakou – the left was on it’s own against her

What blew out of proportion the strength of the mobilization against her which was limited to the left was the fact that she made sure she isolated herself from any potential source of support.

Purely objectively, some key measures proposed were provokingly DUMB

Like setting an absolute rather than a percentile cut off grade. The uprising against her was about increasing spending? Really? This a woman who did not hesitate to make greek taxpayers pay for GHOST schools without students! She could have shut down; schools and universities that she felt were redundant! She could have shut down entire institutions with overlapping departments

She could reduce places in ALL schools including the popular ones. ALL these would have the same effect on the budget but far better effects on the economy and the labour market
