Αχ, μικρέ μου πρίγκιπα! Έτσι, σιγά σιγά, κατάλαβα τη μελαγχολική σου ζωούλα. Για πολύν καιρό, δεν είχες τίποτα να σε διασκεδάσει παρά μονάχα τα απαλά ηλιοβασιλέματα. Την καινούργια αυτή λεπτομέρεια την έμαθα την τέταρτη μέρα το πρωί, όταν μου είπες:

«Πολύ μ' αρέσουν τα ηλιοβασιλέματα. Πάμε να δούμε ένα ηλιοβασίλεμα...»

«Μα πρέπει να περιμένουμε...»

«Να περιμένουμε τι;»

«Να περιμένουμε τον ήλιο να βασιλέψει».

Φάνηκες να ξαφνιάστηκες στην αρχή κι ύστερα γέλασες με τον εαυτό σου. Και μου είπες:

«Όλο νομίζω πως είμαι στον τόπο μου!»

Είναι γεγονός. Όλοι το ξέρουν πως όταν είναι μεσημέρι στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες, ο ήλιος στη Γαλλία βασιλεύει. Θα 'φτανε να μπορούσαμε να πάμε στη Γαλλία μέσα σ' ένα λεπτό και θα βλέπαμε τον ήλιο να βασιλεύει. Δυστυχώς όμως, η Γαλλία είναι πολύ μακριά. Αλλά στον τόσο δα μικρό πλανήτη σου, έφτανε να τραβήξεις την καρέκλα σου δυο βήματα πιο κάτω. Κι έβλεπες το δειλινό όποτε το ήθελες...

«Μια μέρα, είδα τον ήλιο να βασιλεύει σαράντα τρεις φορές!»

Και μετά από λίγο συνέχισες:

«Ξέρεις... όταν είσαι λυπημένος σ' αρέσουν τα ηλιοβασιλέματα...»

«Κείνη τη μέρα με τις σαράντα τρεις φορές ήσουν τόσο λυπημένος λοιπόν;»

Ο μικρός πρίγκιπας όμως δεν απάντησε.

Το σαλαμι-Μουζουρακης

Μ' άφησες μόνο, ο διάολος να πάρει τη μοίρα μου

θα σ' είχα σφάξει αν ήταν του χαρακτήρα μου

Μ' ένα σαλάμι αφημένο καιρό στο ψυγείο

είπα λοιπόν κι εγώ να σου κάνω ένα αστείο

Και πήρα τους μπάτσους αμέσως και τους τηλεφώνησα

και παγωμένα τους είπα πως σε δολοφόνησα

στην μηχανή του κιμά είπα σ' είχα λιανίσει

και ένα σαλάμι με σένα πως είχα γεμίσει

Και ήρθαν στο σπίτι αμέσως για να με πιάσουνε

και στα μπαλκόνια βγήκανε για να δικάσουνε

Πω πω να δεις το αίμα του πλήθους παγώνει

μ' ένα σαλάμι που παίρνουνε σ' ένα σεντόνι

Και πλάκα να δεις να γράφει ο τύπος διάφορα

και ν' απορώ κοίτα ρε πως τα κατάφερα

για να σε κάνω κοντά μου ξανά να γυρίσεις

στ' αλλαντικά να κοπούν εντελώς οι πωλήσεις

Και πλάκες επίσης γινήκαν στην αναπαράσταση

που μου τη βαράει κι αρχίζω κι εγώ την παράσταση

τους δείχνω να φέτες κόβω απ' το σαλαμάκι

και τους ρωτάω αν έχει κανένα ουζάκι

Που λες τους την δίνει να θέλουνε να με λιντσάρουνε

και για μια πλάκα την κεφαλή να μου πάρουνε

Κάπου εδώ μωρό μου τα αστεία τελειώνουν

προφυλακιστέο με βγάζουν και μέσα με χώνουν

Και λέω την αλήθεια και τώρα πια δεν με πιστεύουνε

τρελοί και γιατροί μες' το Δαφνί μ' αποφεύγουνε

και περιμένω μωρό μου να ‘ρθείς να τους πεις

πως είσαι καλά δεν είσαι σαλάμι και ζεις

το λατρευω αυτο το τραγουδι!!!!
