''Role of RANK in lymph node homeostasis

The lymph node comprises hematopoietic cells (immune cells) and non-hematopoietic

cells (stromal cells). We have shown that RANKL, a member of the TNF family, is

overexpressed in the skin and induces stromal cell proliferation resulting in massive growth

of the skin-draining lymph nodes. Stromal cells are stimulated by RANKL because

they express the RANK receptor. The aim of the work is to elucidate the mechanism of

stromal growth by RANKL and to better understand its effect on the immune system.''

To be eligible for this EU-funded position, the applicant must not have spent more than 12 months

in the last 3 years in France
