πολυπλοκότητα raiven ή σύνδρομο raiven

παιδιά μία βοήθεια, έχω ένα φίλο που λέει ότι ένας γνωστός του πάσχει από πολυπλοκότητα raiven, ¨η σύνδρομο raiven, έχω ψάξει στο google και δεν βρήκα κάτι σχετικό. Δεν γνωρίζω αν το έγραψε λάθος ή σωστα. Γνωρίζει κανείς κάτι σχετικό ?

Και σε ολόκληρο το pubmed που έψαξα, δε βρήκα τίποτα.

Reaven syndrome, also called metabolic syndrome. A syndrome characterized by hyperinsulinemia, dyslipidemia, essential hypertension, abdominal obesity and glucose intolerance in individuals with insulin resistance; conditions that place people at high risk for coronary artery disease. The fundamental defect in the metabolic syndrome is insulin resistance in both adipose tissue and muscle.

Treatment; antihypertensive / antidiabetic agents, exercise and smoking cessation. Complication; heart disease, stroke, cardiovascular disorders.

The term Reaven syndrome refers to the Stanford University physician Gerald Reaven who first described the syndrome at the annual meeting of the American Diabetes Association 1988.
