Επαγγελματική Εκπαίδευση στη Θεραπευτική Προσέγγιση EMDR Επαγγελματική Εκπαίδευση στη Θεραπευτική Προσέγγιση EMDR από την EMDR Europe Humanitarian Assistance Programmes (HAP) για Επαγγελματίες Ψυχικής Υγείας. Το Πρόγραμμα υλοποιείται από την Παιδοψυχιατρική Κλινική του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών σε συνεργασία με το University of Worcester, το Hellenic American College, την EMDR HAP Europe και την ΜΚΟ TACT Hellas.

4ο Εντατικό Σεμινάριο «Διαχείριση Θυμάτων Καταστροφών» Κως, 9-14 Οκτωβρίου 2014 To 4ο Εντατικό Σεμινάριο "Διαχείριση Θυμάτων Καταστροφών"υλοποιείται στην Κω, το νησί του Ιπποκράτη για δεύτερη συνεχή χρονιά, από 9 έως 14 Οκτωβρίου 2014 , από το Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα "Διεθνής Ιατρική Διαχείριση Κρίσεων Υγείας" της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου με επιστημονικό υπεύθυνο τον αναπληρωτή καθηγητή κ. Θεόφιλο Ρόζενμπεργκ και σε συνεργασία με την 80 Ανωτέρα Διοίκηση Ταγμάτων Εθνοφυλακής «ΚΩΣ» και τον Δήμο Κω. Η ακαδημαϊκή αυτή πρωτοβουλία τελεί υπό την Αιγίδα του Υπουργείου Δημοσίας Τάξεως και Προστασίας του Πολίτη και της Περιφέρειας Νοτίου Αιγαίου. Η επιστημονική εποπτεία του Σεμιναρίου εξασφαλίζεται από μια υψηλού επιπέδου Επιστημονική Ομάδα Ακαδημαϊκών Διεθνούς Κύρους, της ημεδαπής και της αλλοδαπής με αναγνωρισμένη εμπειρία σε θέματα αντιμετώπισης καταστροφών. Το Εντατικό Σεμινάριο απευθύνεται σε ιατρούς και υγειονομικούς καθώς και σε διασώστες κρατικών υπηρεσιών και εθελοντικών ομάδων αρωγής που ενδιαφέρονται να στελεχώσουν συντονισμένες προσπάθειες αντιμετώπισης μεγάλων συμβάντων όπως σεισμοί, πυρκαγιές, ατυχήματα με μαζικές απώλειες υγείας. Για το λόγο αυτό σημαντική θέση στο σεμινάριο έχουν οι τρεις μεγάλες ασκήσεις προσομοίωσης οι οποίες πραγματοποιούνται 11, 12 και 13 Οκτωβρίου και αφορούν αντίστοιχα υποδοχή προσφύγων, τρομοκρατική επίθεση σε τουριστικό πλοίο και ατύχημα στο αεροδρόμιο. Στο πλαίσιο αυτών των ασκήσεων έχει αναπτυχθεί ένα ευρύ δίκτυο συνεργασίας το οποίο περιλαμβάνει τις Ένοπλες Δυνάμεις (80 ΑΔΤΕ) και το σύνολο των φορέων Πολιτικής Προστασίας της Κω ανάμεσα στους οποίους είναι η Πυροσβεστική Υπηρεσία, το Λιμενικό Σώμα, ο Διεθνής Αερολιμένας Κω «Ιπποκράτης» και η Πυροσβεστική Υπηρεσία Αερολιμένος, το Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Κω, εθελοντικές οργανώσεις πολιτικής προστασίας κ.α Ιδιαίτερης μνείας αξίζει η συνεργασία με το Διεθνές Ιπποκράτειο Ίδρυμα Κω και τον Πρόεδρό του καθηγητή κ. His main clinical interests lie in the management of lower limb sports injuries and in paediatric musculoskeletal sports medicine. Special interests include Anterior Cruciate Ligament and Patellar and Achilles tendons. His main research interests are the histology and biology of overuse tendon injuries and the effects of intensive training in young and older athletes. A florid research programme is under way with international collaborators, focusing on orthopaedic genetics, outcome measures and randomized controlled trials in trauma and orthopaedics, and tissue engineering of tendons. Professor Maffulli has recently been awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians. Dr Otto Chan MBBS FRCS Ed FRCS Glas FRCR (UK) ATLS Instructor - Dr Chan is a Consultant Radiologist specialising in Imaging and radiology. Treatments/Procedures include CT scanning, MRI scanning, MRI scanning (open), Ultrasound, X-ray and Radiology. His professional memberships include BMA, BIR, ESGAR and BTS. Otto has extensive experience in all aspects of GI, thoracic radiology, Emergency radiology and MSK/Sports Medicine, including all aspects of MSK intervention. His multidisciplinary team approach to sports medicine diagnosis and management is unique, working with nationally and internationally renowned clinicians and with strong clinical and academic links with the Sports and Health and Exercise Department at Queen Mary's College. He has been Director of the Sports injuries clinic of Track and Field Association in Thessaloniki, since 1986 and was Chief Medical Officer of the Hellenic Olympic Team XXVIII Olympics Athens 2004. Additionally Nikos was Director of the Medical Services of the First South Eastern European Games 2007 .He is a Fellow of the UK Faculty of Sports and Exercise medicine Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh .He is at the European Judo Union Medical Committee, a Founding member of the European College of Sports and Exercise Physicians – ECOSEP and founding member of the Greek Sports Medicine Association, a Fellow of the International Federation of Sports Medicine FIMS, a Member of the British Sports and Exercise medicine Association, and a Member of the Greek Trauma Association.
